BMW Photo Documentation App
During my time working on my bachelor thesis at BMW, I had the opportunity to create an initial prototype and proof of concept application. This app was designed to efficiently upload and categorize highly sensitive images, with the added feature of seamlessly integrating with a BMW photo cloud.
My Work
During my tenure at BMW, I had
the opportunity to embark on an exciting project
for my bachelor thesis that involved crafting a Swift native prototype.
This endeavor centered around the secure
uploading and meticulous labeling of highly
sensitive images.
The primary objective was to seamlessly
integrate this Swift native prototype with an existing
REST API, ensuring a smooth flow of data
and information. Beyond mere upload functionality,
I implemented a host of features to
enhance the images, permitting users
to edit and annotate them with various
elements like text, forms, colors,
and more.
Moreover, I didn't stop at functionality alone.
I prioritized data security, recognizing the critical
importance of safeguarding sensitive content. To that end,
I devised an intelligent system that automatically uploaded
encrypted data to my servers, guaranteeing data integrity and
confidentiality. Importantly, for instances when the device was
not within the BMW Network, I ensured that the data was securely
stored locally.
